Our values

What we stand for

Grassroots First

Never lose sight of the people who make it happen...the volunteers, coaches, and club leaders who give everything for the game.

Practical by Nature

Everything we deliver is designed to be used by real clubs with real constraints. Ideas are only useful if they can be acted on.

Earnt Trust

Trust isn't given, it's built. Shared experience is at the foundation of everything we do...we've sat in your seat.

The people behind it

Meet Ed

Originally from the UK, now based in Vancouver, my sporting journey started on muddy rugby pitches in the North West of England and has taken me further than I ever expected.

I played rugby and cricket throughout school and also earnt my Level 1 Cricket Coaching license. Club rugby in Hull followed before moving to Prague, where seven years in the Czech domestic leagues gave me my first real look at how grassroots clubs tick..the challenges, the culture, and the people who hold it all together.

A move to Oslo followed. Two games in, I tore my ACL and MCL, swapped my boots for a whistle, and never looked back. Before long I was coaching, then vice president, then president of a local club. I navigated bureaucracy, managed social media, organised events, worked with sponsors, and collaborated with national team coaches.

More recently I've been coaching premier men's rugby in North Vancouver, working with high-performance athletes and getting a front-row view of recruitment, retention, and what it takes to compete at the top of the domestic game. I'm also working towards my World Rugby Level 2 coaching qualification.

Grassroots rugby is built by passionate volunteers and committed club leaders. I've sat in most of those seats myself.

My goal is simple: to help rugby clubs become stronger, more sustainable, and better equipped for the future.

Meet Tom

I started coaching at 15, helping my dad coach my younger brother's football team. A year later I began assisting a local tennis coach, and since then I've been involved in coaching across a range of sports.

I hold a UEFA C Licence and have coached youth football in Oslo, focusing on creating an environment where players enjoy coming back week after week. Having spent years in sport as both a player and a coach, I've seen how much good training sessions matter to the long-term health of a club. It was rewarding to see our group grow to the point where we had a waiting list in an age group where many young people tend to drift away from sport.

Alongside coaching, I've stayed involved in sport as both a player and volunteer. I grew up playing rugby for Paviors RFC in Nottingham and later played for and coached Blindern RFC after moving to Norway. I've also hosted a podcast covering rugby in Norway.

Over the years, I've been involved in a variety of sporting environments, from playing football for FK Luna in Vesterålen above the Arctic Circle to student tennis and a handful of half-marathons along the way.

Having recently moved back to Oslo, I'm looking forward to getting involved with Blindern again and spending more time on the tennis court.
